easy access to parks and landmarks for weekend exploration

I loved how close the hotel was to beautiful spots like Sarah P. Duke Gardens, just over 4 km away, and the scenic Al Buehler Trail Parking, only around 2.5 km from my stay, making it incredibly convenient for my walks to enjoy the local scenery.

my stay here was surprisingly pleasant. unlike my previous visits to other places in durham, this time the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. the location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area and find good food nearby.

the air conditioning wasn't effective.

The area around Extended Stay has some solid culinary gems! The cool spot gave my taste buds a wild ride! Plus, the proximity to food and other amenities was pretty dope.

I showed up and they told me they didn't have a room for me—what a bummer! No call, no nothing. The place looked a bit sketchy, too. Had to hustle to find another room, which messed with our plans for the Duke game. Still, the nearby eats made up for it a bit.

We really enjoyed our time exploring the vibrant scene around The Triangle. It was also nice to have access to great outdoor spaces nearby, perfect for our kids to run around and enjoy. The family-friendly atmosphere made it enjoyable for everyone during our stay.

My kids wished there were more amenities for families, like a play area or activities for younger ones.

Enjoyed my time at the Queen Studio, particularly the convenience of fully equipped kitchens. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, promptly addressing my requests for extra towels. A piece of advice, check out local dining options. they can point you to some hidden gems nearby!

Wi-Fi was decent and free parking was convenient. Rooms need thorough cleaning though.
